This Castle Pines home was remodeled with mixed hardwood beams that were reclaimed from a 150 year old barn in Illinois. We customized the beams and installed them onto the ceiling after consulting with a structural engineer.

This weathered barnwood fireplace surround was constructed from beetle-killed pine tongue and groove from Colorado. We weathered it, distressed it and finished it to match a photo of barnwood from a magazine.

We made templates for these steel plates, which were outsourced, and then finished them and installed them onto the existing timbers to add some aesthetic character.
